Through close cooperation between the J.R. HOE Plant Safety Committee and company management, an impressive company safety record has been established at J.R. HOE:
2001 to 2011: 3 Lost Time Injuries
2003 to 2008: 0 Lost Time Injuries
2011 Experience Mod Rate: 0.85
While these statistics would rate highly in any heavy manufacturing environment, for the iron casting and metal fabrication industries, these numbers represent an extraordinary accomplishment.
Safety Recognitions
J.R. HOE has been recognized by numerous industry groups and was featured recently in the national trade journal Fabricator.
J. R. HOE & Sons was also recognized by the Kentucky Labor Cabinet with the Governors SAFETY and HEALTH Award in 2006 and 2008. Also in 2006 the Kentucky Division of workplace standards presented J. R. HOE & Sons with the Thoroughbred Award for excellence in small business.
